It reminded me that this chapter is not over. I didn’t put any energy into it this year.
I worked with someone who caused harm, but was overwhelmed by the fallout from his mistake. I am trying to see how I can help by bridging two friends who were pushed apart by a mistake he made — and I believe he has grown from it.
The issue I see now is self-appointed leaders who bully others without doing any due diligence.
Also, promoters or venue owners with a god complex who think they are wiser than everyone else, yet hide their own mistakes. I think my next piece should be about this — and about those who still need to grow.
