When I joined the military, we had lots of equipment and lots of boots to shine. One of them was the Garrison 11-hole boots. I remember spending hours on those boots with wax and spit-polish. I gave those boots away a long time ago.
But after 10 years, I began to search for this model again — no more in military supply, and all my friends had sold theirs.
But last Saturday with Eisa, we went to do some boot shopping for her.
We went to RIO on St-Denis and I found those boots:

It is amazing how great it feels to get back something already known.
I wore those boots for many years for work and now I will wear them for fun.
Last night, we screened the movie “The Pet” at the Loft.
A very disturbing movie about organ selling and pet play.
Not the best movie, but very touching.
