Friday was the ATW party — a private party where the queer crowd got wild. People between 18 and 25, with a few exceptions over 30.
These parties are very sexually oriented. They have a sex room reserved for that activity, with people to monitor and protect. They also have a dungeon where sexual activity is allowed. I saw a few friends while working there as a DM. I was introduced to a cousin of a friend who was in town just for this party, so I gave her a good taste of Montreal.
Saturday was reserved for Otakuthon, but I was too lazy and too tired to go.
Today was Pride — I walked with the leather people. I have a great affinity and a lot of respect for them, so I wanted to support them. It was my first time walking in Pride — my God, it was cool.
The event is about love and pride, but also about remembering those we have lost. A 1-minute silence was held during Pride for those who have fallen.
