I got great news today. A friend won their case. They had a court case because of doing a suspension outside with their child — nothing sexual, just playing Superman.
The rope harness is the same as in shibari, but the goal behind it is very different. Playing Superman is fun — I know, I have done it to myself multiple times.
We were able to prove that there is nothing wrong with playing with ropes, and the judge also made a good ruling:
The sexuality of the parents, conventional or not, is not the concern of the law.
