How much money does a pro Dom make?

The real answer is that it varies a lot — by gender, location, type of services, and many other factors. Most do not offer sexual services.

This post is also not about financial domination.

A heterosexual male top who aims to sell services to female bottoms will probably struggle to make ends meet. Women rarely pay for those kinds of services.

A male top working with other men can make some money. I did a few gigs in the past, and that was the only setup that worked for me.

A female top — a Dominatrix — can make a nice income. It can be a demanding job, and one that would make for a very interesting book.

Some Doms charge extra for specific play: needle work, costumes, and advanced restraint.

It is also common for a Domina to ask for and receive gifts — shoes, boots, lingerie, and in some cases leather toys, leather coats. I even saw a motorcycle once.

Money-wise, $75/hour is on the low end, though some do it also for the fun of it. The mid-range is around $150–$300/hour. That is a lot of money if you have clients all day.

Some Dominatrices do not have their own dungeon, so they subtract rent, equipment costs, and cleaning supplies from their revenue.

A friend of mine does two-to-three-hour sessions at $1,000 — which makes for a very nice side income.
