This weekend we did a few things, and one of them was a road trip. Before leaving Montreal, we stopped to see the Tercia rope expo. It was like taking a breath of fresh air. I knew the name; he was a friend of friends, and we shared some common passions for media, whips, rope, and working in similar jobs.
First, the aesthetic and composition of the photographic area were very well done. Tercia put more time into that expo than many people put into gallery exhibitions. The color themes, along with some local models, were nice to see. The printing was also well made.
The Ghost Tie,”this is from me”, not the title of that section—was shibari-style rope work done in the air. He used a nice technique to plastify the rope, creating a look of tension. Tercia explained that he had seen something similar in the past from another artist and was inspired by it.

The cherry on top was some of the other attractions, made with a mix of 3D printing and lots of imagination. If you see that exposition in the future, it is worth your time.
