The term applies so well to me: Guy With a Camera. Sadly, I don’t really have the eye for composition or fine art, but I still love working with cameras and gear.

I own a Sony Handycam HD — portable, great night vision, and a huge hard drive that can record for days.

I still have some older Sony cameras and GoPros — older models that I can use without worrying too much if they get damaged or lost.

I also have a GoPro Hero 10 with a solid rig cage. It’s easy to mount and has so many accessories.

I own a DJI Osmo Pocket as well — tiny, shoots in 4K, has tracking, and many great features.

I’ve also experimented with DSLR setups, using a Canon camera to record through a Blackmagic Assist.

I have a Sony RX100M7, which is an amazing all-around camera. It has some of the best slow motion on the market, up to 999 fps.

More recently, I got the Blackmagic 2.5K, which is great because I can use many of the Canon lenses I already own.

My goal was never just to own a good camera, but to learn how to use different cameras, different gear, and different setups.

I built an overhead tripod from a mic stand. I also built a high-altitude tripod that allows movement using a tripod base for a boom mic. Over two years, I also built an orbit rig with a mini crane that allows for some crazy shots.

If you’d like to see how I built it, I followed this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C2xUxm7c_M

I Build helmet rig, arms rig just to creat one shot some times.
