Aging and evolving, an update

I was lucky to have a long kinky life in the same community.

This allowed me to see some changes from within. An example: rope took 20 years to take a central place in Montreal. Then came the emergence of puppy play and ABDL. The increase in prices for events, but that follows everything else.

The radicalization of the younger generation. A culture that does not allow mistakes — so when a newcomer or someone young in the scene makes a mistake, they leave. This was the big discussion last week, about the number of people leaving or taking a break from the scene after a mistake. That does not allow people to grow, in my opinion, and it causes mistakes to be repeated.

The evolution of education was also nice to see — from people simply sharing what they know, to people teaching and making a living from it.

The evolution of kinky social media — cheers to IG: @older_people_shibari.

On another level, all my former subs are now with kids or pregnant. Priorities change. I keep in touch with most of them. They are still kinky, but more vanilla than in the scene for now.

Now I have many little side projects. I would love to make some short films — three minutes or less. One is called Jinga, a serial killer movie; the other is The Guillotine of a Million Dollars, a horror film — both very kinky and with humour.

To be continued.
