In the past few days I found lots of things I was searching for.
Glowing ropes — after a demonstration at Le Loft with glowing ropes a few months ago, I searched on the internet to find some, but found them a little expensive.
Last week I went to Canadian Tire and found these glowing ropes, used for camping.
6 mm × 15 m × 6 = $10 = 270 feet — very inexpensive.
Polypropylene, 110 lbs tested.
Acrylic rods — I had been searching for these rods for some time.
You can build sex toys, handles for floggers, and add an LED to add some light to them.
I found exactly the size I needed at a Salvation Army-like store for $0.69.
Goggles — François, the guy who makes masks, also made a very nice kind of blindfold.
Using cheap motorcycle or safety goggles, he puts something black in the lens layer.
These do not compress the eyes shut and look very nice if you add some decoration to them.
I found these safety glasses at $1 each at the St-Henri Salvation Army, in their box, brand new.
Lew Rubens — I was trying to contact him for the festival workshop to see if he planned anything for those practicing alone. I plan to use plastic female mannequins for those who want to practice but have no one to practice on.
Lew joined FetLife a few days ago, and with a private message this went very rapidly — easy to communicate.
Sometimes we just need to wait and see what is right in front of our eyes.
