This was the first event, starting on Valentine’s Day.
It was located in the Old Port, using one of the buildings typically used for exhibits.
At first glance, the setup looked nice. I believe the entry fee was around $35 per person, which isn’t cheap for a salon. However, the venue was well-arranged, with minimal white decorations, a bar at the far end, and a VIP section.
The vendors were a mix of different types, ranging from photographers selling their prints to art exhibitions. There was also a stage at the back for performances. Near the entrance, there was a conference area where workshops and discussions took place. Opalace was present, along with Club L and Orage.
I spent three hours there assisting a friend with a photoshoot. The event felt very similar to Salon Amour et Séduction—just in a different location, slightly smaller, but with the same concept. Let’s see where it goes from here.
