New kind of show.

I designed a new kind of suspension. Most suspensions are static; some are dynamic and allow some movement of the person. Many people also use pulleys to control the ascent. Now imagine being able to control movement from left to right, up and down, while the person is free to move — not far from actually flying.

I have been working on this project in my mind for a long time. It requires a lot of special equipment, and by chance I already have the ropes for it.

Calculations: for a horizontal movement of 60 feet it is fairly simple — 2 lines of 100 feet each, 1 for the safety line, and 4 chains of 50 feet for the traverse.

For the lateral movement of 40 feet I will need close to 200 feet for the pulley system. Add 100 feet for the harness and we are good to go.

For equipment, I will use climbing gear built for this kind of work. In climbing, this equipment is used for rescue operations. This time it will be for entertainment — expensive equipment, but it will last a long time.
