I am beginning to ask myself about the role played by the rigger and the model.
I find the part played by the sub to be very important in a bondage show — even more so for a shoot or a performance.
The art of bondage is very cool when well done, but the sub plays with it and adds greater value to it. I have seen some very nice static bondage, but without the emotion or action it was very boring.
When I do bondage with performers like Maiko or O, I sense they are having fun, and the people watching also sense the fun.
The rigger becomes only a safety element, an artifice of the show.
