When you are busy with life, time passes so fast. I see seasons like weeks.
I have a dog who is not yet 2 years old and already 130 lbs, a new/old place called home, and I will get a car next month. I work a lot and have many little side projects — from short films to photography, a few websites, a podcast, and more.
For my health, all is good this year — so good that I gained 20 lbs, which I aim to lose before winter. I restarted training. Let’s see if I can maintain it this time. My goal is 185 lbs. I just need to move more and stop eating pizza.
Last month I did a fireplay intensive workshop. I have cut down a lot on that side of kink — from one workshop a week, to one a month, to one every few months. The effects were visible on my end: the equipment needs an upgrade, and the lack of practice giving those workshops shows. Next year I plan to make them available on VOD.
Bytchy and I also haven’t gone out much — we try to keep it to at least our munch every few months and play more privately. It costs less and avoids the parking hassle downtown. We skipped two public events so far; there were always too many people.
Last month my Canon 6D broke on me — the first time that has ever happened. It was sent in for repair: $500 CAD to change the mirror block. So I will start looking at mirrorless cameras now.
I did an underwater photo shoot test last month at a dungeon that has a pool. The camera and housing case worked well. We will be ready for some underwater bondage next time.
Next month we are doing an event called THE HUNT. We rented two large chalets up north and will chase the subs and play outside. It was inspired by one of the activities I experienced at Dark Odyssey Fusion a few years back.
